Education For Sustainable Development Programme Gets New Manager
The Environment and Rural Development Foundation (ERuDeF) has a new Manager for the Education for Sustainable Development Programme, Akeh Nug.
Nug holds a BSc in Environmental Science and an MSc in Natural Resources Management from the University of Buea.
She replaces Mahah Vladimire who went for further studies in Germany.
The 33-year-old female brings with her teaching experiences from home and abroad including Asia.
She has served in a number of NGOs in different capacities like the Organisation for Rural Development and Environmental protection (ORDEP) and Livelihood NGO.
The new Programme Manager is expected to develop new strategies to foster environmental education to a level where the most common man is not only aware but gets involved in keeping a healthy environment both for man and other forms of nature.
Nug will be responsible for managing ERuDeF’s education programs, initiating and developing the NGO’s national education and fundraising for education for sustainable development initiatives.
